Early detection of breast cancer: an awareness lecture in Firdous Aden.

On the occasion of the International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Dr. Neema Muqbel gave an awareness lecture about early detection of breast cancer at Al-Firdous Development Society, during which she indicated that 95% of cases of breast cancer can be detected at home through breast self-examination.
And I explained what is related to the diagnosis of the disease through some methods and steps that enable the woman to follow to early detection of the disease and when noticing some obvious symptoms in such a situation where I explained that to the present women, this requires a review by the doctor or any health center.

She urged the women to examine themselves, given the importance of the topic, especially since during this month three cases of breast cancer appeared, and one of the patients has both breasts, and this is a risk indicator:
As for prevention, the doctor emphasized that prevention is through the practice of walking and sport of all kinds, weight loss and breastfeeding, and she emphasized that breastfeeding is a protection for the mother from this disease.

As for the treatment, I emphasized that the treatment is through surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and psychological treatment, which is supportive and important to overcome the disease. Any woman exposed to breast cancer and the affected woman lives a very normal life and performs all of her duties to the fullest extent and touched on the role of the man and the family in the woman’s life and that they should To give her the care and attention necessary to support her psychologically in order to overcome the disease.

For its part, Eng. Samira Abdullah Nasr, President of Al-Firdous Association, welcomed all the attendees as well as Dr. Nima and thanked Dr. Ahmed Rouah for his cooperation in establishing this lecture. He also expressed his willingness to conduct a free examination for a group of women, according to a program and coordination with the association.
