Health awareness project and improving

Al-Firdous launches a health awareness project and improved livelihoods for the displaced in Brega.

Today, health awareness and improved livelihoods were implemented in the Brega district of Aden governorate, which is implemented by the Al Firdous Women Development Association in partnership with the Refugee Support Organization (DRC), funded by OCHA.

The inauguration was attended by Mr. Hani Yazidi, Director General of the Brega Directorate, and by the Security Director.

In the word Yazidi, he mentioned the importance of implementing this type of project in order to alleviate the suffering and help of the displaced. The Director General of the Directorate Hani Al Yazidi praised the humanitarian work carried out by the OCHA organization in providing support to the displaced, and thanked the Ferdous Association for its many different development and humanitarian activities that we are proud of in its partnership with the local authority and the donors. For its part, the president of Eng. Al-Firdaws Eng. Samira Abdullah Nasr stated that the project comes within the works that the association seeks with its attention towards the displaced and contribute to spreading health awareness and improving ways and moral lifting through holding awareness sessions which will target "500" families in Al Brega and 500 families in Al Sheikh Othman, noting that the value of one food basket will be distributed to each participant in the awareness sessions.
