Conclusion of a project to educate the displaced in Al-Brega and Sheikh Othman districts
The implementation of a project to educate the displaced in the districts of Al-Brega and Sheikh Othman, which was implemented by Al-Firdous with the support of OCHA and under the supervision of the Refugee Support Organization, was concluded today at the Al-Firdous Development Society, Al-Brega District, Aden Governorate.
Eng. Samira Abdullah Nasr, President of Al-Firdaws Association, pointed out the importance of this project in the field of awareness and training in several areas, including health and the environment and in the life skills of the displaced and the neediest families in the districts of Al-Baraiqa and Sheikh Othman.
The engineer confirmed that 1,000 families were delivered with an amount of $ 100 as a lunch package at each stage of the project
The engineer also noted that taking into account the support of IDPs affected by the recent war and the most in need in upcoming projects, as their number exceeds the number specified in the project.
After that, certificates of appreciation were distributed to the staff in implementing the project and the community committees, in appreciation of their efforts in the success of the project.
The closing ceremony was attended by Brother Hani Al Yazidi, Director of the Brega Directorate, Professor Ayoub Abu Bakr, Director General of the Office of Social Affairs and Labor, Aden Governorate, Secretary of the Local Council at the Sheikh Othman Ali Abdel Majid District, and the Chairman of the Services Committee of the Local Council in the Brega Directorate Muhammad Abdel Wahab Nayef, in the presence of the Director of the Food Security and Living Improvement Program at the Organization Supporting refugees, brother Abdo Al-Yousifi
