In order to provide a safe environment for children, to put a smile on their faces and enable them to participate in various activities, express themselves and show their creativity, a child friendly space was held at the Al-Firdous Development Society with the support of INTERSOS for the period 15 December to 27 May 2018.
The Friendly Spaces Project works on the axis of psychosocial support, which are psychosocial activities to integrate children into a child-friendly environment
The engineer, Samira Abdullah, President of Al-Firdaws Association, said that this morning and evening space contributes to creating a safe environment for children to be able to participate regularly in play, and build social relations between them and enhance the spirit of cooperation and competition between them on sound and correct foundations, helping them out of their psychological states after being affected by the disasters that have affected With them and their involvement in ways that help them overcome crises and remove various types of psychological, mental and physical pressures in children. It also provides them with opportunities to learn and teach writing, reading, and drawing various competitions.
She stated that 251 children and girls between the ages of 3 and 17 were received, and the number is increasing.

Sister Mona Hassan, a member of the Child Protection Committee in the Brega Directorate, said that the goal of establishing this space is to give children the space that contributes to expressing themselves through many activities and activities in the field of drawing and reading, telling purposeful stories, playing games, strengthening relationships and the art of talking to help them in taking out their inner potentials.
