The project for educating the displaced, came at a time when the urgent need for the community of the Brega Directorate and Sheikh Othman in particular for the category of the displaced from the various governorates affected by the effects of the war and the difficult conditions experienced by citizens in general and the displaced in particular and the lack of their needs and the difficulty in providing the necessary supplies for a normal life and the privacy of the two districts and their geographical location, the number The displaced are very large and are in dire need of different needs, economically, socially, healthily, culturally, and educationally.

The support of the Refugee Support Organization (DRC) for the project added valuable assistance to Al-Firdous Association to achieve the goals of the distinguished project in its positive and supportive role for the displaced and some of the poorest families in Al-Brega and Sheikh Othman directorate as it is considered the first project implemented in Aden and these multiple activities beneficial to individuals and society at the same time and its contribution to Raising the level of awareness and health education and providing life skills with a simple and interesting template for beneficiaries, as well as working to reduce psychological and societal suffering for them.

Prior to implementation, statements of the displaced families and poor families in the Brega Directorate were pre-prepared during the war period and beyond, and follow-up in renewing the database of the variables from the presence and transfer of families from one place to another, and contact was also made with other relevant parties to know and register the displaced in the Brega and Sheikh Othman districts

The agreement signed between Al-Firdaws Association and DRC was signed on November 1 2016 to implement the project.

As the project is being implemented at the level of the Brega and Sheikh Othman directorate, the number of beneficiaries will be 1000 thousand beneficiaries and beneficiaries (70% displaced and 30% poor families). 500 cases per district.
